Aalto University, School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Helsinki<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Tutors: Marlies Vermeulen (Institute of Cartopology), Remy Kroese (Dear Hunter)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n From the start of this project it was in the back of our minds to map the border between Finland and Estonia, as it seemed to be of such a different order than the borders we already included in the research: geographical, cultural, economic. Having found a partner in the Aalto University we were able to perform BCA\u2019s over there! With a small but dedicated group of students we prepared, took the ferry and off we went. Various difficulties showed up: where actually is the border when you\u2019re on a boat? When do you \u2018leave\u2019 one country and \u2018enter\u2019 the other? What about the time on the ferry? All the amusement offered on board turned the crossing into a feast for the senses.
