It is a quest for a more inclusive way of mapping and depicting borders on maps. This publication offers insight in this quest, but also enables you to actively engage with the project as you can ultimately add to the Encyclopedia. Moreover, it also contains an archive and opens the trajectory of the project itself, for those interested in the research rather than the outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Border Encyclopedia is both an online and an offline project. Sometimes, parts are accessible in both ways, sometimes they complement each other. Where necessary, there are cross-referrals and clear indications to switch from platform or open an additional screen \u2013 or page.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Border Encyclopedia does not contain the traditional structure of a beginning, middle and ending with conclusion. Rather, it is an environment, online and offline, where, by staying here for a while and hopping from one part to another, you increasingly understand the project and become more sensitive to the subject matter. However, the Border Encyclopedia is divided in three parts according to the audiences\u2019 use: firstly, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/borderencyclopedia.eu\/index.php\/approach\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"585\">approach<\/a>\u00a0of the project and the cartopological way of mapping, secondly, the research\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/borderencyclopedia.eu\/index.php\/process\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"587\">process<\/a>\u00a0and trajectory of the two years of research and thirdly the performative outcome of the project containing the Border Crossing Act-Instrument and Border Crossing Act-Navigator\u00a0that ask for <a href=\"https:\/\/borderencyclopedia.eu\/index.php\/engage\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"589\">engagement<\/a> from the user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About Border Encyclopedia is an artistic research project.
